Richard was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army, a member of Bristol Township Police Department from 1952 until his retirement in 1983 and a member of the F.O.P., a graduate of the Southern Police Institute and the F.B.I. Academy.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Eva A. (Horn) Templeton.
Richard is survived by his brothers, Larry and Hugh Templeton and his sister, Doris Hibbs. He was the beloved father of Carol Stiltner and her husband Charles, Debby Juno, Viky Shaul and her husband Robert; grandfather of Richard Stiltner and Jennifer Johnson; and great-grandfather of Richard Stiltner, Jr.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated by the family.
