Ricky was born on October 27, 1959 in Robeson County, NC, the son of Nelson and Ruby Estelle Smith Cummings. He worked with Alma Desk Company. Ricky was a loving husband, son, father, brother, grandfather and friend to many. He will be deeply missed.
Ricky was preceded in death by his mother Ruby. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Jane Cummings of the home; father, Nelson Cummings; brother, Rex Cummings and wife Tammy,; sister, Pamela Cummings, all of Sophia, NC and sister, Barbara Cummings of Archdale, NC; nieces, Jessica Cummings, Nikki Cummings; nephews, Matthew Byerly, David and Joseph Spainhour; six great nephews; step-children, Carrie Roach, Stephen Michaelis and William Michaelis and six step-grandchildren.
Services to Celebrate Ricky’s life will be held on Saturday, 12:00 noon at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior the service on Saturday at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
