Robert Donald Levan, Sr., 77, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Moses Cone Hospital. A memorial service to celebrate Robert’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 20, at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel, 515 North Elm Street, with inurnment to follow at Westminster Gardens Cemetery, 3601 Whitehurst Road.
Robert was born December 10, 1945, in Guilford County, NC, son of the late Edward Hall and Della Beatrice Levan. Robert was an avid fisherman who loved boating and the outdoors. He was also an experienced computer programmer/technician.
Mr. Levan is survived by his son, Robert Donald Levan, Jr.; granddaughter, Olivia Levan; brothers, Richard Levan and wife, Nancy, Jimmy Levan and wife Ann; sister, Elisabeth Pierce and husband, Gene and Robert’s girlfriend of 15 years, Laura Ververa.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday April 19, at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel.
