Robert Goins

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 27 at 3:00 pm at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 High Point Road, with Rev. Otto Harris officiating. The visitation will be held at 2:30 pm.

Bobby was born in Greensboro on December 1, 1938 to the late Kenneth and Helen Whitsett Goins. He was a graduate of James B. Dudley High School, class of 1957. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a maintenance supervisor for Brown Investment and UNC-G. He was the owner of Ken-Hel Janitorial Services.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Charles Goins. Bobby is survived by his wife, Joan Witt Goins of the home; children, Anthony Goins of Dallas TX, Robin Goins (Julian Ausar), Phyllis Goins and Robert Sanchez Goins all of Greensboro; brother, James Goins of Greensboro; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the charity of one’s choice in Bobby’s memory.
