Graveside Service will be 11 am Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Lakeview Memorial Park.
A native of Bennettsville, South Carolina Mr. Wells was a WWII Army veteran having received the Bronze and Silver Star. He was also a retired Baptist minister.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Wilma Quick Wells, his wife Anna B. Wells and his son Roger L. Wells, Jr.
He is survived by his daughter Ann Cunningham and her husband Milton of Reidsville, NC, brother Robert Wells and his wife Melba, grandchildren, Timothy Nicholson, Jerry Nicholson, Jr., and his wife Wendy, step-grandson Gray Cunningham, great grandchildren Cody Nicholson and Hannah Nicholson, step-great grandson Liam Cunningham.
The family will receive friends following the service.
