Rose Bailiff Lawrence

A graveside service will be held at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery in Greensboro, Saturday November 6, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Jean Nall officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 W. Gate City Blvd., in Greensboro.

Rose was born June 30, 1923 in Greensboro, NC to the late Arthur Bryan and Lillian Zink Bailiff. After graduating from Greensboro High School, she received an Associate Degree at UNC-G in Business. She was a dedicated lifelong member of Glenwood United Methodist Church where she was also the church secretary for over 5 decades and also served many years as the church organist.

She was preceded in death by her husband, "Pete" Lawrence and brothers, Arthur Bryant Bailiff and Jack Zink Bailiff.

She is survived by her daughters, June Bennett (Jerry) of Greensboro and Cathy McKinnon (Rod) of Matthews; grandchildren, Jennifer Oliver (David) of McLeansville, Jason Bennett of Greensboro, Melanie Dagenhart (Stephen) of Summerfield and Jack Deal (Crystal) of Denver CO.; "Grandmommy" is also survived by great-grandchildren, Mikayla and Laci Oliver, Caleb, Daphne and Lukas Deal and Jackson, Mason and Caroline Dagenhart; and will be missed by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
