She is preceded in death by her husband Walter K. Ivey, Sr., her son Walter K. Ivey, Jr., and her youngest daughter Lisa Ivey.
She leaves behind her three daughters; niece, Connie Berry; son-in-law Kevin McMasters; grandson Chris; great-grandson Linkin, granddaughter Amy Rankin; very special caring caregiver Ruth; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren that she longed to visit with her.
At 98 years old, she held onto life as long as she could. She was a homemaker who loved everyone and everything. She loved nature and working in the yard. She loved with all her heart. So, when you hear a bird sing or see a flower blooming extra pretty, know that it’s God’s way of saying that Mom/Grandma/NaNa is watching over you now.
Her love and faith in everyone and everything will last forever in our hearts.
Rest in peace, Mom. Job well done.
