Your warm smile, your quest for freedom and your desire to fulfill your dreams are what we have shared since childhood. I am truly thankful that we were able to share the past few years together. Being miles apart never seemed to make a difference.We always managed to be apart of each others lives daily. It is priceless and a Honor for me to have shared our lives and your final days with stories of our youth, a lot of laughter, promises and dreams. You are and will always be very special to me and I will love you forever (as I always have) and promise to take care of Susan for you.

Although I hadn't seen Sally in several years, I think about her often.  Especially when I make Pimento Cheese as she taught me when we worked together at the Chapter 13 Office. May God put his loving arms around her family at this time of sorrow. My thoughts and prayers are with them.

Although I had not seen Sally in several years, I think about her alot. Especially when I make home made pimento cheese. She taught me how to make it when we worked together at Chapter 13.  My prayers and condolences to her family at this time of sorrow.  May God put his loving arms around them and give them strength.

I just learned of Sally's passing on this morning (12/29) when the information was shared with me from a coworker who returned from vacation.  I am very saddened to receive such news.  Sally and I worked together many years in downtown Greensboro and I remember that wonderful personality and great spirit that she had about herself.  My prayers go out to the family.  With deepest condolences!

I only wish I had the chance to have met you, so many memories we missed out on, so many words left unsaid but until we meet in heaven aunt Sally. May you enjoy laughter, love and pure joy with my dad and my grandparents for I know with them you are whole and healthy again. May you always shine your love down upon Shelby and the babies and watch over aunt Susan. For I know they need your strength you are now their guardian angel. Guide them and protect them. 
Shower them with your love and peace. Now go kick up the clouds with dad I know he has been waiting for you. Stay out of trouble you two.

I never met you Sally but you fought a long and good fight! Now you are Shelby's Special Angel looking over her!

Sally 'Jane', as I used to call you, I find it so hard to find the words to say goodbye. I have known you for my entire life and have so many fond memories of you in my heart. I will never forget us dancin' like crazy in the living room and how I used to tote lil Shelby Beth around like she was my child. I remember driving my go cart to y'all's house from the trailer and you always greeted me with a smile and loving hug. Those are things that I'll always remember about you. That and that you were always a fighter, never to let anything keep you down. Though time separated us, it never changed the love I have for you in my heart. Thank you for loving me and allowing me to love you. Saying goodbye is so final so I'll say "See you one day". Let your beautiful wings fly and rest in the almighty paradise. I love you, Aunt Sally...

What I will miss most about Sally is her sweet, sweet smile and laugh! She was ALWAYS smiling or tried her very best even when things got tough for her. I am forever grateful for God bringing me back into her life when her need was great. She touch me more than she would have ever imagined and I truly miss her!! She is now Somewhere Over the Rainbow with the Wind Beneath her Wings. Thank you for being my friend!!! I Love You :)

Mom words can't express how much I miss you. Each day gets harder and harder but I know you are watching over me from above. You are my best friend , my rock and my strength.  You have a beautiful spirit that touched the lives of everyone and will continue to do so. I can't imagine life without you . I'll be keeping you close to my heart and take you everywhere. Ella's first birthday, Rylan's first crush , Ayla's wedding day. You will be there. Please spread your wings over us mom. We love you so much. Some sweet day we will see each other again

Sally's light will always shine within us.  We will miss her deeply but know that her spirit will always be with us.
