Sally Gundelfinger Dale

A memorial service will be held Sunday, 2:00 p.m., at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm Chapel. Friends will be received immediately following the service at the funeral home.

Sally was born June 12, 1929 in Cleveland, OH, the daughter of the late William Taylor Gundelfinger and the late Eloise Jean Culbertson Gundelfinger.

Sally was a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother. In her professional life she was an interior designer and a former senior account executive with Pace Magazine (Pace Communications) inflight publication for Piedmont Airlines. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched.

Sally is survived by her husband, Robert Howard Dale and his two children, Patricia Dale and Robert H. Dale; two daughters, Shelley Jean Singleton of Tennessee and Deirdre Welch Hudgins of North Carolina; three sons; Thomas VanDyke King and Michael Drew Welch, both of Colorado and William Gray Welch of North Carolina; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
