A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery.
Born in Greensboro, November 26, 1930, to the late Samuel Robert McIntosh, Sr. and Monty Williams McIntosh, Bob was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired as General Manager from Dixie Uniforms and enjoyed golfing, fishing, and gardening.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 61 years, Betty Hodgin McIntosh; children, Linda S. McIntosh of Greensboro, Steve McIntosh and wife Gwyn of Waynesville, David McIntosh and wife Au of Hawaii, and Sherri Tester and husband Paul of Tennessee; sister, Bea Parker of Greensboro; and three grandchildren, Andrew McIntosh, Corey McIntosh, and Tip McIntosh.
The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
