Mrs. Sandra Lane Allen Cashion, 72, a resident of Greensboro died Tuesday morning at Wesley Long Hospital. Sandra was born March 25, 1941 in High Point, the daughter of Clinton and Ann Thomason Allen. After receiving her BS Degree from UNC-G she worked as a graphic designer. She was a member of Jamestown United Methodist Church and the Circle of Hope Church Circle.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Darrell Allen.
On April 15, 1978 she married Coleman Lee Cashion. Surviving in addition to her husband is her daughter, Ann Lee Holbrook; her son, David Allen Cashion; two sisters, Charlotte Collins of Winston-Salem, Ilene Morrison of Advance and two grandchildren, Tyler Pilcher and Andrew Holbrook.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Jamestown United Methodist Church conducted by the Reverend Jim Watford. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Sandra’s memory to Jamestown United Methodist Church, 403 E. Main St., Jamestown, NC 27282, The American Cancer Society, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
