Sandra Stanley Southern, 84, passed away suddenly on October 27, 2026.
Sandra was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose light will be deeply missed in this world. Her absolute passion in life was her family. Her deep love for them was beautifully demonstrated when she created and published a personalized book for her great-granddaughters—a treasured keepsake filled with all the wonders of family, meant to serve as her lasting legacy. She gave of herself always to make others happy. Her faith has now become sight, and she is peacefully spending her days with Jesus and the loving sisters, son, and mother she had been missing so dearly.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Melissa Albright; her son, Jeffrey Peele; her grandsons, Matthew and Adam Horner; her granddaughter, Sarah Palmer; and her cherished great-granddaughters, Millie, Josie, and Emma.
Graveside will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Guilford Memorial Park, 6000 West Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27407.
