Sarah Arnold Brown

A gathering will be held from 5-7 p.m., Friday, March 11, at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel, 515 North Elm Street.

Sarah was born March 15, 1928, in Sylacauga, Alabama, daughter of the late William and Ona Thompson Arnold. She graduated from Guilford College with a bachelor’s degree in Science and Math and was the secretary of Brown Brother’s Septic Tank.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bascom Brown; son, Henry Bart Brown and sisters, Mary Pittman and Willie Mae Price. She is survived by her children, Carson Arnold Brown and wife, Gwen, Ann Rogers and husband, Rick; grandchildren, Jeremy Luck, Dia Budkey and husband, Lee, Jennifer Crissman and husband, Ben, Rachel Brown, John Rogers and wife Cristina and great-grandchildren, Anna and Emma Crissman and Zach Rogers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
