2021 at the Arbor Landing in Hampstead. She was born October 5, 1934 in New Haven, CT the daughter
of Clarence and Hazel Kimberley Bolster.
Sally worked with Gilbarco in Greensboro, and she was also a realtor with Century 21. Prior to her move
to North Carolina she co owned the Cycle Shop in Milford, CT. A schwinn bicycle dealership that was
very well known in its day.
She was married to Robert I. White who preceded her in death. Her immediate survivors are her

Paula of Burlington, NC and step son Randal White of Greensboro, NC. along with 8 grandchildren and
10 great grandchildren.
Sally was active with the CUCC Women's Group and sang in the church choir directed by her very close
friend Don Trexler. Her hobbies were many, and she excelled in whatever she did. From playing golf
with the men from church, to doing alterations on the choir robes and other garments as folks needed,
working in her flower garden or cooking a big meal for the family, that could sometimes be a surprise
because she loved to try new recipes but all were done with love and fun. She was always quick with a
joke and a smile and later she became affectionately known as Silly Sally. Sally never met a stranger and
everyone was a friend. For those who knew her in the last years, they will never forget her playfulness
and the pats on the butt she was always giving out.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Sedgefield Memorial Mausoleum at Guilford Memorial Park at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday February 6, 2021.
