Shannon Dale Dixon, 41, a resident of Greensboro died Sunday June 16, 2013 at Beacon Place. Shannon was born June 3, 1972 in Greensboro, the daughter of James Robert Dixon and Vanessa Miller Dixon. She attended the Gateway Education Center. Shannon was preceded in death by her mother.
Surviving are her father and step-mother, James Robert Dixon and Gloria Dixon of Rogersville, TN; one sister, Tracie Nelson of Reidsville; one brother, James Lester Dixon of WI and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by the Reverend Dr. Jessie W. Bledsoe. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until service time.
