I am a neighbor of Maria Stringer. I have known Maria for several years and she is a good friend of mine. Through Maria, I met Sheria. Sheria and I talked for several minutes and I liked her immediately. She was intelligent and kind and seemed to be a very thoughful person, thinking deeply before making a comment. I was saddened by the news of her death. Several times since learning of the tragedy, I have thought of her and felt a hurting deep within my chest. I can only imagine the emotional pain being experienced by all those who knew and loved her. I told one of my brothers about her and he told me that we surely live in a world of sadness, despite the brief happinesses we may experience. To Sheria's family I express the deepest sympathy and condolences for the loss of a beautiful and kind person. I also express the hope that she and her family may share in the joy of the resurrection.

My heart goes out to Rita and the family. You just finish visiting us in Baltimore, unknowingly that this was the last time to see our cousin Sheria. She grew up to be a respectful, sweet young lady, that everyone wish to have as their daughter, but God decided he wanted this beautiful rose to add to His garden. We will keep the family in our prayers, as you go thru the loss of Sheria.

I thank God for the privilege of knowing Sheria. The most memorable times of her would be when she was 6 years old. I remember her following me around with that sweet face, as she would call my name, if I was too long in my room. I admired, and was proud of the wonderful woman she had had become. Sheria was truly a loving caring young lady. She was focused on caring for her mother, which is what she expressed the last Time we communicated. I thank God for the Blessed Hope, because the Creator has promised that the Dead in Christ Will rise first. The world has lost a shining Star which I truly believe that God will raise at the last Trumpet.

Sheria was a valuable jewel that the Father allowed me to love, enjoy, share experiences, and so much more with. I remember as a little girl praying many times for a baby sister growing up. My Father in heaven blew my mind she was soooooo much more than what I asked for. I would've done anything for her. She will be greatly missed. Words can't explain it all and my words probably really don't describe what a light she was to many. Father your glory was truly shown in this Mighty Woman of God. I give Honor and Glory to the Most High... Our Father for sending my baby sister to me. She will never be forgotten though it feels like I'm missing a chunk of my heart; I will fight the good fight of faith just as she did. I LOVE THEE
