Shirley Louise Ford

Shirley was the daughter of Kemper and Louise Ford. She would raise chickens and cows as well as always had a huge garden where she grew all of her own vegetables and canned them. She was a great cook and loved to make cakes. She was the biscuit maker at McDonalds for many, many years and also worked at Packrite Packaging with her son Michael.

Shirley is preceded in death by her son Michael Jones and daughter Janice Roberts. Shirley is survived by her sons Norwood Jones and Alonzo Jones; daughters Dana Reaves, Cheryl Durr and Halona Mitchell (John), grandchildren Corey Jones Sr (Heather), Jennifer Hart (Avery), Drew Jones, Wyatt Jones, Morgan Jones, Samantha Jones, Craig Milam, Joshua Roberts Sr., Justin Roberts (Brittany), Jaron Roberts, Ryan Williams (Amanda), Joseph Williams (Paige), Shana DeLancey (Phil), Hannah Killian (Caleb), Camille Mitchell, Marissa Mitchell; great grandchildren Cameron, Corey Jr., Savannah, Camden, Abby, Jackson,Jayla, Rylee, Sylas, Vernon, Amari, Moriah, Josh Jr., James, Carter, Nevaeh, Skylinn, Ren, Bailey, Penelope, Olivia, Owen and Braelynn.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 1, 2026 at 3pm-5pm at Hanes Lineberry 515 N. Elm St. Greensboro NC 27401.

Graveside service will be held January 2, 2026 at 1pm at Carolina Biblical Gardens 5710 Riverdale Dr. Jamestown NC 27282.
