Shirley Louvenia Poole, 89, of Greensboro passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024 at Compass Health and Rehab in Mebane. She was the daughter of the late Lonnie Rodortha Poole and Lena Spivey Poole.

When Shirley was younger she was a member of Stephen’s Memorial Baptist Church and lived with family. For the past 30 years, she was a resident of RHA. She loved the staff, her family, and holidays.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and William Mills.

Shirley is survived by her two nieces, Susie and Bill Eudy and Rodortha and Harry Wright and six great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Monday, June 3, 2024 in the Lineberry Center of Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel with Pastor Tommy Privett officiating. The family will receive friends with light refreshments following the service. Interment will be private at Lakeview Memorial Park.
