Siegfried Kling

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church Chapel with Rev. Virginia Herring officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service in the Library.

Siegfried was born on July 5, 1930 in Stettin, Germany to the late Walter and Margarete Runge Kling. He was a furniture designer. He loved woodworking, hiking and biking. He was a former fitness instructor and a great yodeler. He was a long time member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Siegfried was survived by his wife Virginia Paine Kling; son Walter Kling of Greensboro; daughter, Heidi Kling Wicker of Winston Salem; grandson Brannon Kling; brother Harold Kling and sister Helga Ritter, both of Germany; and extended family members whom he loved dearly.
