Stanley H. King, 84, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2011 at Wesley Long Hospital. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2:00 pm at the Christian Memorial Cemetery in Rochester Hills, MI. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Pixley Funeral Home in Rochester, MI.
Stanley was born on March 15, 1927 in Sutton’s Bay, MI. He served his country during WW II in the US Army. Following his military service, he was employed with General Motors in Pontiac, retiring after 33 ½ years. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Lapeer Mi.
Surviving are his loving wife of 55 years, Etta Mae Fullmer King; daughters; Ruth Butler and husband Lance of Jamestown, NC, Mary Thomas and husband Dave of Hadley, MI and Becky Wegman and husband Lester of Mill Creek, WV and eight grandchildren
