

He is survived by his daughters, Patricia Wisneski of Greensboro; and Carol Foreback and husband Michael of Stephen’s City, VA; and his grandchildren Jesse and Ally. He is preceded in death by his wife, Janet and his sister, Anna.
Stanley was born November 28, 1923 to the late Peter and Katherine Wisniewski in Newark, NJ. He entered the US Army in 1943 and served his country during World War II stationed in France. Following his honorable discharge from the Army, he took advantage of his GI benefits and attended Fairleigh Dickinson University where he earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering.
Following his graduation from college, Stan worked as an Ordinance Engineer at the Picatinny Arsenal in NJ. In 1958, he was hired by the United States Post Office Department as an Industrial Engineer in the Research and Engineering Bureau. He remained in that position as the Post Office Department made the transition into the United States Postal Service in 1971. He retired from the United State Postal Service in 1983. Following his retirement, he did consulting work and ran a small plant in Naples FL making precision medical research equipment.
Stan’s memorial services will be a private family gathering, and will be held in Virginia upon Stan’s interment into Arlington National Cemetery where his life and military service will be honored.
