Stella Duggins Dalton, 79, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012 at Hospice Home in High Point. Services to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, 1:00 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel with Rev. Ken Pauly officiating. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.
Stella was born on May 24, 1933, the daughter of Opie C. and Eva Cardwell Duggins. She retired from Canada Dry Bottling Company. She loved the Lord and prayed daily for everybody. Her prayers will be missed. She was called Mama Stella because she was like a mother to all who knew her. She loved and enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
Stella is survived by her son, Charles Dalton; three daughters, Diane Shelton, Pamela Carroll and Delores Isaacs; three grandsons, Danny Dalton, Travis Carroll, Justin Carroll; one granddaughter, Ginny Isaacs and twelve great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7 pm to 9 pm at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
