Susan Alexander Nunn

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home until 8:00 pm.

Born in Pittsburg, PA, to Bob and Shirley Alexander, Susan was of the Christian faith. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Susan retired from the United States Postal Service after 22 years of employment. She was an avid dog lover and enjoyed exercising and running before her health began to fail. She loved spending time at the beach and sharing memories with family and friends. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Susan was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory include her loving daughter, Erica Staley and her husband Howard of Greensboro; sister, Sheri Kepley and her husband Larry of Greensboro; brother, Bob Alexander and his wife Jennifer of Pleasant Garden; grandchildren, Kynzie Faith Staley and Khloe Grace Staley of Greensboro; 10 nieces and nephews; 8 great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and co-workers.
