Thomas was born on April 26, 1926 in Greensboro and lived here for 74 before moving to Archdale, NC.
He served his country in the US Marines during WW II. Thomas worked with Cooke Vending until his retirement and then worked as a Flea Market vender for a few years.
Thomas was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Martin Calhoun. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Louise Isom Calhoun.
It has been a year of trials, but God has always pulled us through with his mercy and grace. May we never take our eyes off Him and His love for us.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, 2:00 p.m. at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
