Thomas "Wayne" Jordan

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery.

Born October 2, 1952 to Dolly Armfield Jordan Crabtree and the late Tommy Jordan, Wayne was of the Christian faith and attended Lighthouse Baptist Church. Before his declining health, he was a self-employed painter. Wayne was a loving and caring son and father who will be missed by many. He was a tender-hearted soul who would often times cry at the drop of a hat. He has now been reunited with his two precious children who preceded him in death, Nicole and Jason Jordan.

Those left to mourn his passing are his mother, Dolly Jordan Crabtree and step-father, Perry of Greensboro; sister, Hava McElroy of Beaulahville, NC; grandchildren, Tyler and Madison Jordan; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends, Lewis and Trudy McMahon and Bobby Sledge.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1 until 2 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
