The family will receive friends from 11 AM to 1 PM prior to the service at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm chapel. Tom was born in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Joseph Eldon and Frieda Nolan Paquette. When Tom was 14, the family moved from Toronto to Greensboro. He graduated from Northwest Guilford High School and received his B.A. in Speech Communications from NC State University in 1984. He also met his soulmate and wife of thirty-four years, Jackie Jewell Paquette, while in college. He leaves behind his wife Jackie and children, Chris and Monique both of Raleigh; brothers, David (Jenny) Paquette of Mooresville and Randy (Mary) Paquette of Wake Forest; sisters, Diane Williams of Greensboro, Michelle (Tommy) Buckman, Jr., of Gastonia and Karen (Doug) Parkes of Madison, AL; twenty-two nieces and nephews; and his canine buddies, Freddie and Daphne. We sure had a lot of good times back in the day. Thanks for helping me build a swing set and for those second row Grateful Dead tickets. Sorry that those times ended so abruptly and I never got to see you again. Put in a good word for me. -Bill
