Thomas "Tommy" Michael Hedrick

Thomas Michael Hedrick, 61, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 6, 2016. Tommy was born on January 18, 1955, in Guilford County, one of eight children of Paul Stanley and Sarah McPherson Hedrick. He grew up in a large family and he always put family first. He loved drag racing and raced for several years. His pride and joy was time he could spend with his granddaughter, Logan Elise and the rest of the family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many. He will be deeply missed.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Phyllis Ann Peoples. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Deborah Lynn Hedrick of the home; son, Tony Stanley Hedrick and wife Sherry of Pilot Mountain, NC; granddaughter, Logan Elise Hedrick; siblings, Jack Hedrick and wife Violet, Linda Hodges, Kay McCannon and husband Jimmy, Becky Tuggle and husband Larry, all of Summerfield, NC, Vickie Smith and husband Dudley of Lawsonville, NC and Margaret Arnold of High Point, NC and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 2:00 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel with Pastor Jerry Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
