Thomas "Tommy" Jerry Wallace, 79, a resident of Greensboro passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017 at his residence. He was born January 16, 1938 in Rockingham, the son of John Robert and Maude Ella Hathcock Wallace.
Mr. Wallace was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Ervin Council Wallace, James Patrick Wallace and John Junior Wallace.
A skilled craftsman he worked at Hatteras Yachts, Inc. in High Point and later with Alma Desk and Dar-Ran Furniture Companies.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Marie Sweeney Wallace of the home; his daughter, Shelvey Jean Wallace of Greensboro; his son, Ronnie Melvin Wallace of Greensboro; sisters, Mary Elizabeth Burns of Simpsonville, SC, Celia June Smith of Pelzer, SC, Helen Lavon Hill of Bristol, TN and his brother, Jack Wallace of Franklinville.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at Guilford Memorial Park. Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel is serving the family.
