Timothy “Tim” Alan Lewey, 55, a resident of Asheboro died Wednesday, November 19, 2014. He was born July 15, 1959 in Greensboro, the son of William Elisha and Edith Gallimore Lewey. A graduate of Smith High School in Greensboro, Tim was employed with the City of High Point. He was preceded in death by his father.
Surviving are two daughters, Erin Nicole Lewey of Winston-Salem, Alison Dawn English and husband Drew of Athens, GA; his mother, Edith G. Lewey of Greensboro; one sister, Lori Lewey of Greensboro; one brother, Steve Lewey and wife Libba of Greensboro and his fiance’ Lori Rae Crist and her two sons, Nathan and John.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Vanstory Chapel, 1900 Vanstory St., Greensboro, NC 27403 conducted by Pastor Don Miller and Pastor Chris Lewis. Interment will follow at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:30 until service time.
