Trish LaShal Davis was born September 4, 1965 to Elijah and Barbara Davis in Greensboro, North Carolina. She was the fourth of six children, three girls and three boys. In 1977, at the age of 12, Trish moved to Queens, New York to live with her Godmother, Vivian White, where she had the first of three children (Josh, Danielle and Tyler) and met the love of her life, Osude “Alex” Stoll. Trish returned to Greensboro in 1990, where she would remain until she entered into eternal rest on September 14, 2019.
Trish faithfully served as a member of Cathedral of Faith Christian Center, driving the church van to transport members until her health no longer allowed her to do so. She loved her pastor and church dearly and rarely missed an opportunity to worship and fellowship with them. She worked for a number of years with Mike Childrey, transporting the elderly to medical appointments from nursing homes. Always serving in whatever capacity she could, she helped prepare meals for the homeless and families in need at Urban Ministry and at her church.
Trish was proceeded in death by her niece, Tiffany Nesmith, grandparents Joe and Al Bertha Brailsford Nesmith and Sam and Carrie Peoples Davis, and her Godmother, Vivian White. Those left to cherish her life and precious memories of our beloved are her children, Josh, Danielle and Tyler; grandson, Ethan Noah; step-children whom she loved like her own, Osude Jr. (Moosie), D’Angelo and Tookie (“Tonae-jah”); her parents; siblings, Greg (Audrey), Fella (Gail), Randell (Clara), Sheila (“Lisha”), Eli, and Tracey (Allan); her nieces, Janae (Terry), Kaya, Brittany (Terrence), Miranda, Chelsey, Tiffany, Candace, KayLa and Krystal Tindal, Chelsey, Emely, and Krystal B; her nephews, Brandon (Nikki), Monta (Meeka), Orin, and Miles; her great-nieces, Camara, Bella, Kailey Armani, and Aniya; great-nephews, Jaiden, Caleb, Kamden, Braxton, and Supreme; paternal aunts, Emma Marcus and Katie Davis (Uncle Joe, deceased); maternal uncle, Morris Nesmith (“Uncle Bro”); best friends, Tab, Teddy, Natalie, and Alice “Miller”; and her second family from New York, Michelle, Renee, Tony, Nicole, Tysha, Starquaja “Star”, Jayja, Jace, and a whole host of family and friends.
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants. Psalm 116:15
