Mrs. Trisha Hill Miles, 65, a resident of Durham and a former resident of Greensboro died Sunday September 2, 2012 at the Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Trisha was born July 20, 1947 in Thomasville the daughter of Hubert C. and Edna Gray Hill. She was a graduate of Sumner High School and was a member of Grace Church in Randleman.
On March 14, 1982 she was married to Colon “Jim” Miles who preceded her in death on September 5, 1994. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving is one daughter, Emily M. Potter and husband Jordan of Raleigh; one son, Jacob Miles of Bennett; one sister, Elizabeth H. Stokes and husband Bobby of Liberty; two brothers, Bruce Hill and wife Susan of Greensboro, Clinton Hill and wife Janice of Liberty and two grandchildren, Isabelle and Lucas Potter.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by Reverend Marvin Patterson. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
