

Virginia Emma Barazotti, 88, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2025 in Greensboro NC. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, neighbor, and friend, and her presence will be deeply missed. Born on November 26, 1937 in New York City, she is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved siblings, and a grandson, Christopher Barazotti.
Unconditional love and service were the themes of Virginia’s whole live. She was a beacon of light and love to everyone she met. She was extraordinarily generous with her time, talents, and treasures. Virginia was always available to her family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, parish family, and various organizations. Virginia retired after a career with Bank of New York Melon as an AVP, Corporate Trust and Stock Administration.
Virginia is survived by her husband Louis of 65 years, daughter Carole (James) Ball, sons Louis A. Barazotti and Billy (Claudia) Barazotti, grandchildren Kenneth (Astra) Ball, Virginia (Dmitri) Moundous, Alexandra Barazotti, Adrianna Barazotti, Nicholas Barazotti, and Daniella Barazotti, great-grandchildren Mary Thomas Ball, Maya Moundous, Barnes Ball, Cecelia Moundous, and Juliette Moundous, and many nieces and nephews.
The Mass of Christian Burial for Virginia is scheduled for Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 11am at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 2210 N Elm Street, Greensboro, NC. A reception will follow.
