Mrs. Virginia Stevens Williams, 91 a resident of Greensboro died Sunday September 11, 2011. Mrs. Williams was born March 3, 1920 in Alderson, West Virginia the daughter of Joseph Grant and Betty Forren Stevens. On July 22, 1950 she was married to Harrell H. Williams who preceded her in death on January 31, 2004. She was also preceded in death be her four sisters, Clara Stevens Hamer, Cleva Stevens Rogers, Glenna Stevens Barker, Hallie Stevens Graham and her four brothers, Roscoe, Dallas, Leighton and John Stevens.
Surviving is numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and a special friend, Don Hill.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 12 noon at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Williams will remain at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel for friends that wish to pay their respect and sign the register book.
In lieu of flowers memorials are to be made to the Susan G. Koman Foundation, 5005 LBJ Freeway Suite 250, Dallas, Texas 75244.
