Walter Vance Joyce, Jr. 85, a resident of Greensboro passed away on February 13, 2026 at Beacon Place in Greensboro. He was born on March 4, 1940, in Forsyth County, the son of Walter Vance Joyce Sr. and Gwendolyn Juanita McGee Joyce.
Walter was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He had a love for automobiles and worked in that industry for many years.
Walter was married to Ann Forbis Joyce who preceded him in death in 2018. He was also preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Patricia “Pat” J. Diggs and an infant sister.
Surviving is his son, Christopher Vance Joyce of Greensboro.
At Walter’s request there will be no formal services.
Memorials can be made in Walter's memory to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro (2500 Summit Ave, Greensboro, NC) or a charity of choice.
