Alice ,
Sorry for your loss hear on earth but elated that Ward is in heaven with his Lord.
It was my pleasure to get to know you both at Carolina Estates.
I look forward to seeing you both again when I get to heaven,
I thank the Lord for the opportunity to have you both in my life if only for a short time.

My condolences to the Burch family. I had the pleasure of working with Ward at Hanes Lineberry for many years. Always bright and cheery, welcoming to all our visitors and mourners. Had a good sense of humor.

We met Ward several years ago at First Baptist, Greensboro. He was such a kind, gentle spirit who wonderfully served the Lord. We had not seen him often after we moved to Burlington, but he and his family have been in our thoughts and prayers. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him. We pray that our Lord will give comfort and peace to Alice and the family. Blessings.

Perhaps the greatest compliment I can give to Pastor Ward Burch and his family is that even lifelong Stoneville residents who never were members of his congregation still refer to him decades later as pastor of First Baptist Church here! What a lasting legacy this man and his family left on our close-knit community!

I live in Stoneville but did not attend the First Baptist but several of my family were there when he was the minister. He was a fine person loved and respected by many in our small town. I think the last time I saw him was at my Aunt Laura Clifton's 100th birthday party. He will be missed by his many friends and family. Prayers for Mrs. Burch and his kids and family.

“Preacher “Burch will always be my favorite. Oh the many stories I have heard over the years when I seen him as I got older about my daddy. Tyler he would say, and then he would finish with he was a good man for the sacrifice he did for his family. Mrs.Burch and Preach Burch was the first to keep me overnight when I was younger because most was afraid due to me being sick. What a wonderful man Preacher Burch was. I am so sorry for your loss. May your days be filled with memories of love.
