Wes Sullivan

Stuart Wesley “Wes” Sullivan, 60, a resident of Pleasant Garden died Thursday January 2, 2014 at Moses H. Cone Hospital. Wes was born September 29, 1953 in Greensboro the son of Ed and Marjorie York Sullivan Williams. He was a graduate of GTCC and was a building contractor by trade. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and the times spent with his family at Carolina Beach over the years.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife, Deborah “Debbie” Cassada Sullivan of the home; one daughter, Mary “Mary Lou” Sullivan Bond and husband Eric of Jamestown; three grandchildren, Ryan, Cassada and Bria Bond; his mother-inlaw, Velma Rollins; best friends, Larry and Annette Burton and his three faithful beloved dogs, Missy, Scrappy and Jilly.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by the Reverend Steve Smith. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and other times at the home of his daughter.
