

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Saint Pius The Tenth Catholic Church at 10:00 AM, celebrated by Rev. Father David Hyman. Interment will follow in Westminster Gardens Cemetery. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the church. The family will also greet friends following the service.
William (Bill) was born in New York City to the late William C. and Anna Gilligan Law. He is a WWII Veteran; that served in the United States Army with more than sixteen years of service. He reached the rank of Major. He was a member of the 100th Infantry Division. He was also former President of the 100th Infantry Division Committee.
He was a member of Saint Pius X Church for more than thirty-five years. During the 1980-1990’s Bill ushered every Saturday evening Mass; served on the Liturgical Committee and other areas. He served on the Board of Directors of Barrington Place and White Hall Town Board.
He moved to Greensboro to work with Blue Bell (VF Corporation - Wrangler) as Vice President of Sales. He retired after sixteen years of service with the company.
William was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Catherine Law; and first wife of many years, Mary Moran Law. He is survived by his loving wife of twenty-five years, Janet Gallagher Law; step-children, Rick Hriniak and wife Kim of Cornelius, NC and Linda H. Howell and husband Jeremy; grandchildren Sheldon Hriniak, Nick Hriniak and Drew Hriniak; and great grandchild Jillian Hriniak; brother James Law of CT; and a host of other nieces and nephews. Bill enjoyed knowing that he had many great and great great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Edwin Green and his staff for over 35 years of caring service to Bill.
