Bill was born on February 21, 1945 in Greensboro, NC to Robert and Elizabeth Cook Bransford, who both preceded him in death. His brother Robert Bransford, Jr. (Bobby) of Florida also preceded him in death.
Bill attended Oak Ridge Military Academy, UNC-Chapel Hill and he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. He worked in the office repair business and was a huge Carolina Tarheel fan.
A private service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Hospice (Authoracare).
