Bryant graduated in 1969 from Page High School, entered the United States Army in 1970 and transferred to the NC Army National Guard. He fell in love with Darlene “Dolly” King in high school and shared 42 years of marriage before her passing in 2013. Bryant worked in the wrecker/towing service all his life and upon retirement was co-owner of Kirk’s-Sineath Towing. He had a great sense of humor, could start a conversation with anyone and had a gift for remembering details of other’s lives. He worked hard to provide for his family but made sure they relaxed together too by spending vacations at Carolina Beach and annual trips to Carowinds. The water was his favorite place to be either fishing or watching the boats come in evenings on Lake Townsend. He was a member of the Sportsmen’s Wildlife Club and a Freemason.
He leaves behind his daughters, Kay Murphy and Dawn McIntyre Johns and husband Wayne; grandchildren, Jasmine Fiorine, Nadia Fiorine and MaryBlake Murphy; bonus great grandchildren, Emerson, Kelli and Lilly; siblings; Joey McIntyre and wife Jane, Ann McIntyre, Susan Blackburn and husband Larry and David McIntyre and wife Julie all of Greensboro; several nieces and nephews and extended family. For the past eight years Bryant made some of his most precious memories with Janie Murphy.
The family would like to thank the Greensboro NW Kidney Center for their exceptional care of Bryant for the past six years. Memorial contributions may be directed to the National Kidney Foundation. Online condolences may be offered at www.haneslineberryfhnorthelm.com.
