William P Burney was my sweet Uncle Paul! Growing up he was always smiling and cheering us on in whatever the latest endeavor was! Earliest memories of Uncle Paul were of a rock solid doting father, husband, son-in-law and Uncle! He was an example of consistency - never getting mad or upset! He was smart and I enjoyed chatting with him as I got older on boys, finances, jobs, home purchase decisions and more. He always listened and cautioned in a few cases, but cheered me on. Then he became a grandfather and shared the love of skating with Catherine:)! He was in his element! So many stories and alas never enough time! He will be missed and may he Rest In Peace until we see one another again! I’m betting he’s playing cards in heaven with Granny and Pa!
