Bill Schorr was, without a doubt, the single most influential person in my professional life. I have been blessed with several wonderful mentors but Bill was the greatest of them all! I had the good fortune to spend many memorable hours with Bill and Marianne at their beloved Cabin outside Marshfield after Bill's retirement and more recently with Bill last May in Greensboro. The attached photo of Bill and I was taken at a local Chili's restaurant near his apartment in Greensboro. To brother Steve, sons Tom and Bob, daughter Betsy, and all your families, I extend my deepest condolences!

I was a resident in 1975 and Bill was the greatest teacher and figure of my whole career in Dermatology. He shaped the way I did everything in treatment and in relationships with patients and fellow physicians. I also remember guiding his son Tom to his first woodcock. He was one of a kind in knowledge and personality. He was the best thing that happened to me in Medicine. Henry Katz MD

I was a patient of your fathers in 1977 and was hired by him in 1978.  I have a lot of find memories of him.  He talked so much about each of his children.  I miss Marianne and her soft grace. Dr. Schorr was the best Dermatologist that we had in the department. He will be forever in my memory.
