Wilma Marie Johnson

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel at 2:00 pm.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Grayson County, VA on August 5, 1928 to the late Joseph and Flossie Walton Reedy. She worked as a nursing assistant at Greensboro Health Care, Willowhaven Rest Home and Friends Home. She loved to travel and spend time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her son Gary Bridges; three sisters; Ruth Reedy, Verna Bell McGrady and Mrs. Charles C. Thompson and grandson Leonard Neece. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband Robert Johnson; children, Joyce Reedy of Colfax, Connie Lakey and husband Harvey of Greensboro, Jerry Reedy of Troy, Robert Burchette and wife Melissa of Mouth of Wilson, VA, Dennis Bridges and wife Reda of Greensboro; grandchildren, Kristy Blevins, Travis Blevins, Roger Blevins and Dwayne Bridges; and seventeen great grandchildren.
