Zoe Ann Henricksen

She obtained her business degree through Katharine Gibbs School and met her husband, Don, at her first job (US Steel) and married in 1959. Zoe and Don were blessed to have a nearly 60-year love affair and parented five children; Zoe, Karen, Bob, Tom, and Barbara. Zoe lived the last 55 years of her life in North Carolina with the majority of those years in Greensboro. She spent several years at the Greater Greensboro Housing Foundation where she worked tirelessly to help those in most need to obtain housing. She was a hardcore Pittsburgh Steelers and NC State fan and enjoyed dancing to polka music. Her infectious energy will be missed by all!

Zoe was preceded in death by her daughter Karen (1998), her husband Don (2018), and her son Tom (2019). She is survived by her daughters Zoe and Barbara (son – Ethan) and her son Bob (Kathryn – wife, Peter and Grace - children). A memorial mass will be held in her honor; date of service will be announced later.
