

Alvina M. Ogle, 64 of Greensburg passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 14, 1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of Alvin and Mary Louise (Spurlock) Smith. Alvina was a 1965 graduate of Jac-cen-del High School. Over the years she worked as a bookkeeper for the Decatur County Hospital, Public Service, The Feed Mill of Millhousen, and CNM Farm Equipment. She was a member of the Union Baptist Church.
Survivors include: Sons- Christopher (Carrie) Ogle, W. Scott (Lisa) Ogle, Sisters- Mary Francis (Carl) Redelman, Virginia Ann Striecker, and Bonnie (Mark) Rody, Brother- Larry (Becky) Smith, Grandchildren- W. Chase Ogle, Josie Ogle, Grace Ogle, and Grant Ogle. She was preceded in death by her Father- Alvin Smith and Mother- Mary Louise Smith.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Thursday, February 9, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 10, 2012 at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home.
