Anita Fay Collins, 64, of Greensburg passed away June 16, 2025. She was born November 14, 1960 in Greensburg, Indiana the daughter of Everett and Ella Mae McQueen. Anita was a 1979 graduate of North Decatur High School. She worked as the Manager and President of Apex-McQueen Gas Company, Inc. in Laurel, Indiana for many years.
Survivors include: Husband; Gary Collins; Daughter, Brittany Back; Son, Eric (Megan Collen Sparks) Paul George Sparks; Step-Daughters, Candace Dawn Schirmer, Ashley Nicole Wake and Lindsey Daniel Collins; Grandchildren, Okin Sparks, Owen Sparks, Peyton Mckenzie Wake, Seth Ryan Wake, Addison Nicole Schirmer, Raylen Grace Collins and Kallie Ronix Wake; Siblings, Roger Lee McQueen, Diana Lynn McQueen, Thomas Anthony McQueen and Keith Wayne McQueen. Anita is also survived by her dearest friend, Kylie Turner.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, George Robert McQueen and Donald Allen McQueen.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Friday, June 20, 2025, at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Rev. Jerran Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Clarksburg Christian Church.
