Barry L. Pavy

Barry L. Pavy, 51 of Greensburg, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the St. Vincent Heart Hospital in Indianapolis. Barry was born on July 5, 1965 in Greensburg, the son of Ronald and Rosemarie (Rosengren) Pavy. Barry was a 1983 graduate of Greensburg High School. On October 23, 1999, he married Missy Young at the First Baptist Church in Greensburg and she survives.

Other survivors include his son Vincent Pavy, daughter Elizabeth Pavy, his mother Rosemarie Pavy all of Greensburg, his sister Jane (Scott) Criswell of St. Louis, his Father-in-law Dale (Becky) Young, sisters-in-law Lisa (Steve) Ruble and Teresa Young and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Ronald, his brother Steve Pavy, his mother-in-law Debbie Young and his grandparents Ralph and Ruth Pavy and Arnold and Martha Rosengren.

Barry loved his family; he enjoyed watching his kids play sports, golfing, fishing and spending time with his family and friends, whether it be grilling out or just relaxing around a bonfire. He also enjoyed vacations to the beach and to St. Louis visiting his sister. He loved the Cincinnati Reds, but his heart was filled with Dallas Cowboy pride. Barry worked at KB Specialty Foods as a warehouse associate for 27 years.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 12pm - 4PM at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Barry’s funeral service will begin after the visitation on Thursday, September 15 at 4PM also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Milford Cemetery.
