Carl Vencil Gibson, 90, of Greensburg passed away on October 27, 2014. He was born on March 1, 1924 in Carmona Kentucky, the son of Roe and Lavie Collins Gibson. On August 10, 1951 he married Lillie Campbell. Carl was a member of the Milford United Methodist Church since 1961.
Survivors include: Sons- Stephen (Shirley) Shoopman of Columbus, Jerry (Judy) Shoopman of Greensburg, Daughter- Carla (Franklin) Thomas of Greensburg, and Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: His Parents, Wife- Lillie Campbell, Son- Daniel Gibson, Sisters- Ellera Shroyer and Dortha Sexton.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland Howe Funeral Home on Friday, October 31, 2014 from 11:00 am until the time of the Funeral services at 12:30 pm. Rev. Leroy Reed will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Milford Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Milford Cemetery Association.
