Carol Lea Gommel, 59 of Greensburg passed away on June 4, 2013. She was born on March 28, 1954 in Decatur County the daughter of Watson and Doris (Hawkins) Gommel. Carol was a 1972 graduate of Greensburg Community High School. She worked at a waitress at the Koffee Kup Restaurant for 12 years and also at Gecom for 18 years.
Survivors include: Nikki (Gordon) Bennett, Jennifer (John) Grimes, Grandchildren- Steve, Zach, and Sam Bennett, Lily, Livy, and Max Grimes, Sister- Kathy (Joe) Taylor, Brothers- David (Linda) Gommel, and Rick (Lien) Gommel. She was preceded in death by her: Father- Watson Gommel and Mother- Doris Gommel Harrison.
