Mrs Carolyn June Weber Bean

Carolyn June Bean, 69 of Greensburg, passed away peacefully Monday, September 19, at the Hospice Inpatient Facility in Columbus. Carolyn was born on May 6, 1942 in Greensburg, and was the daughter of the late Carl and Ruth Weber. Carolyn was a 1960 graduate of Greensburg High School. She married David Bean on April 14, 1962, at the Osgood United Methodist Church and he survives.
Other survivors include two daughters: Debbie (John) Sellers and Melissa (David) Fischer both of Greensburg; three grandchildren whom she adored: Olivia Fischer, and Sean and Kyle Sellers; and two brothers Carlos and Calvin Weber.
Carolyn worked at the Greensburg Savings and Loan, and First Federal Savings and Loan, for a total of 51 years where she was an Assistant Vice President. Carolyn was a member of the Greensburg United Methodist Church where she was a member of the United Methodist Women, a Sunday School teacher, a youth group leader and the church kitchen leader for many years. She was also a member of the Delta Theta Tau Sorority, Order of the Eastern Star, a Girl Scout Leader and a Young Republicans leader for many years.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, September 22 at the United Methodist Church from 3PM-7PM. Funeral Service will also be at the church on Friday at 10AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of South Central Indiana or the Greensburg United Methodist Church.
