Ernie Austin Peterson

Ernie Austin Peterson, 78, of Greensburg, passed away on September 29, 2017. He was born on July 2, 1939 in London, Kentucky, the son of Thearn and Jessie Peterson. Ernie worked at Hill-Rom Batesville Casket Company for 50 years as a supervisor in the paint department. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge. Survivors include: Son- Robert Peterson; Daughters- Barbara (David) Black, Terri Peterson, and Angela McCubbins; Sisters- Rosalie Stegner and Janice (George) Wilson. He was preceded in death by his: Parents; Brothers- Eugene Peterson, Thomas Peterson, and James Peterson; Sisters- Pauline Napier and Jackie (Jo) Peterson. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the New Point Christian Church on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 11:00 am until the time of the Funeral at 1:00 pm. Rev. Mark Vice will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Rossburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the New Point Christian Church.
